Ideal for Okalift Superchange_ENG
EC1_GB_black

Excellent sag resistant, flexible, white cement-based thin-set mortar of white color according to EN 12 004 C2 TE-S1 for interior and exterior ceramic and quarry tile installations, porcelain stoneware, porcelain and glass mosaic, clinker and brick tile and non-moisture sensitive natural stone over load bearing substrates such as in-situ concrete (at least 6 months old) and gypsum fiber board, sheet rock, heated screed (please follow corresponding regulations and data sheets), poured mastic asphalt, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) as well as balconies and patios. By adding 10 % Okamul DZ 18 also suitable for glass mosaic installations in submerged conditions (swimming pools).

Suitable for installations of glass mosaic in submerged areas and outdoors by adding 10% Okamul DZ 18 (2.5 Kg Okamul DZ 18 per 25 kg powder, and 2 parts by volume of water and 1 part Okamul DZ 18).

Meets the "Guideline for flexible mortar", June 2001 issue

The substrate must be ready for installation, dry, clean and load bearing. If installation occurs on shrinking substrates frequent expansion joints should be included in the layout. Prime absorbent substrates in interior areas with Okatmos® GG, Okatmos® DSG or Okatmos® UG 30. Allow a drying time of at least 24 hours over calcium sulphate screed. Prime non-absorbent substrates with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG. In exterior areas apply a contact layer of adhesive mortar and let it set.

Always prime exterior substrates with Okatmos® UG 30. Clean old and suitable exterior tiles with an alkaline basic cleaner and prime with Okatmos® UG 30 always in conjunction with a waterproofing membrane, e.g. Servoflex DMS 1K-schnell SuperTec or Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec.

Mix ServoStar® 3000 Flex white with clean, cool water to a smooth texture. Allow mixture to slake for approx. 5 minutes and stir again. Use appropriate notched trowel (see table) to apply mortar onto a substrate, slide the covering material into the adhesive bed within 25 minutes and press tightly. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate/covering corrections can be made within 25 minutes.
