Processing procedures

Personal data is processed in the following procedures:

Cookies

In order to make our website more attractive and allow for certain features to be utilised, we make use of cookies on various sections of our website. Cookies are small text files that are saved on the user’s end device. Some of the cookies we use are automatically deleted once the browser session has finished and you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device in order to allow us to recognise your browser when you visit us again (persistent cookies).

You can adjust your browser settings to inform you any time that a site attempts to save a cookie on your device, allowing you to decide whether to accept or reject cookies on an individual basis or to prevent cookies from being saved altogether. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Accordingly, the purpose of processing is the optimal use and function of our website, and providing necessary services. The legal basis for cookies that are not technically necessary is your consent according to Art. 6 para. a) GDPR, which we obtain through a so-called “cookie banner”. Further information is also provided in our content tool, which we use to obtain your consent.

Contact form / telephone or e-mail inquiries

If you contact us using the contact form provided on the website, the data you enter there is processed.

The purpose of processing is to answer your inquiry and to fulfil any (pre) contractual obligations. The legal basis is a (tacit) consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 b) if applicable.

We will store the data for as long as necessary to answer your inquiry or fulfil (pre)contractual or statutory obligations.

YouTube

We integrate YouTube videos into our website. This is a video portal operated by the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The YouTube videos can be played directly from our website. We have implemented the videos in “expanded data protection mode”, which ensures that data is only transmitted to Google when you begin playing the videos.

If you access a sub-page on which a YouTube video is implemented and play it, then meta/communication data / usage data may be transmitted to YouTube and/or Google. This transmission may be used to create a user profile, and is carried out independently of whether you have a Google account. However, if you do have an account and you are logged into it when you access a sub-page on which a YouTube video is embedded, then this data will be associated. Google stores this data and uses it for advertising and/or market research purposes, such as to provide customised advertisements. You have a right to object to this, and must express objections directly to Google.

When you click the video, you consent that it may process your data.

Wacon Cookie Management (WCM)

To manage our cookies, we use Wacon Cookie Management (WCM) from the company WACON Internet GmbH, Nollenweg 2, 65510 Idstein, Tel.: 06082 – 928047, e-mail: info@remove-this.wacon.de, www.wacon.de. This tool, in turn, sets a cookie, although this is a technically necessary cookie (for more information, see above under “cookies”). These cookies are stored for one year.

Google Maps

We integrate Google Maps into our website via Google API. Google Maps is an interactive map service of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, imprint: https://www.google.de/intl/de/contact/impressum.html. Google Ireland Limited is a subsidiary of Google LLC 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). You can access the Google Data Privacy Declaration here: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you access a sub-page where the Google Maps plug-in is implemented, then Google receives information that you accessed it. In addition to this information, the above meta/communication data/usage data is also transmitted to Google. Google uses this data to create a user profile, even if you do not have a Google account. If you do have a Google account and are logged into it when you visit the sub-page, then the transmitted data will be associated with the Google account. Google stores this data and uses it for advertising and/or market research purposes, such as to provide customised advertisements. You have a right to object to this, and must express objections directly to Google.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR. Your data is generally not saved longer than 2 month.

Oxomi

We use the tool OXOMI from the company scireum GmbH, Eisenbahnstr. 24, 73630 Remshalden, on our website to communicate product and marketing information. The company's Data Privacy Declaration is available at the following link: www.scireum.de/scireum/datenschutz. Depending on the functions provided by OXOMI, personal data is transmitted to the scireum servers. The scireum servers are located in Germany. Depending on the function used, login may be required; the data entered by the user (such as their name, company, contact information) may be transmitted to scireum and saved. The legal basis for processing your data is your consent (by use of the function and entering your data), as well as our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest exists, in particular, in designing our product range to be as appealing as possible. A cookie is set due to the use of OXOMI. This cookie is a technically necessary cookie. The cookie ensures the proper function of OXOMI by storing the identity of the user and allowing for a (permanent) login. The cookie is deleted when the user logs out.

Matomo

We use the web tracking tool “Matomo.” Matomo is an open source tool for traffic analysis. You can access the Matomo Data Privacy Declaration here: https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/. We use Matomo based on your consent, in accordance with Art. 6 para. a) GDPR.

If you have declared your consent and saving cookies is not prevented in your browser, then Matomo will analyse utilisation of this website by using cookies. Your data is stored on our own server in this process, and therefore in Germany, and is not transmitted to third parties. We have set Matomo so that your IP address is truncated before it is processed, thereby reducing the possibility that it may be associated with you; however, rough localisation is still possible, for example.

Your data is generally not stored longer than 2 months.

You can prevent actions which you carry out here from being analysed and linked. This will protect your privacy, however, it will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions, and improving operating capabilities for you and other users. Currently, your visit to this website is recorded by Matomo web analytics. Deselect these check boxes to opt out.
