Flexible and plastic-coated cemented thin-bed mortar in accordance with EN 12 004 C2 TE-S1 for laying ceramic tiles and panels, porcelain tiles (internal), porcelain mosaics, clinker and brick tiles, as well as colour fade and deformation resistant natural stone coverings for internal and external use. For use on solid surfaces such as in situ concrete (min. 6 months old), gypsum fibreboard, plaster boards, heated screeds (in compliance with corresponding standards and data sheets), cast asphalt, porous concrete and balconies and terraces. Suitable for coating thicknesses up to 10 mm.
Meets "Flexible mortar guidelines", June 2001 version
The underfloor must be dry, clean and stable. If laying on insecure substrates the area size must be limited by expansion joints. In indoor areas, pre-coat absorbent substrates with Okatmos® GG, Okatmos® DSG, Okamul SP or Okatmos® UG 30. Allow at least 24 hours to dry on calcium sulphate screeds, or use Okatmos® DSG.
When installing covering material with a surface of > 0.16 m² and an adhesive bed thickness of more than 5 mm on calcium sulphate screeds, prime using Okatmos® DSG or Okapox GF.
Outdoors, prime with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG. On old, horizontal floor coverings that have been cleaned with alkaline floor cleaner and primed with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG, always work in conjunction with a compound seal, such as Servoflex DMS 1K-schnell SuperTec or Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec.
Mix ServoStar® 1500 with clean water until smooth. Leave to stand for approx. 5 minutes and then mix again. Using the appropriate trowel (see table) spread the mixture onto the substrate and place and firmly press down the material being laid after no more than approx. 30 minutes. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate/coating, the laid material can be adjusted within approx. 25 minutes.
When used outdoors or in larger formats, the combined method (buttering-floating) should be followed.
