Water and dirt-resistant, cement-based joint compound in accordance with DIN EN 13888 CG 2 WA with plastic component for added flexibility. Thanks to its outstanding processing properties and beneficial hardening process, the joint is prevented from washing out.

Servoperl 10 is not flammable, and can be used in indoor and outdoor areas for joints up to 10 mm (edelweiss shade up to 5 mm). The joint compound is suitable for grouting ceramic coverings, including porcelain tiles, in wet and moist areas, as well as on heated screed or intermediate walls made of plasterboard and more.

Ensure the surfaces to be covered are suitable, and observe the regulations of the covering manufacturer. For a uniform joint, only use material from the same batch. Before beginning grouting, the grout must be mostly bonded and dry, the joints must be clean and have an even depth.

Mix Servoperl 10 together with clean water to form a smooth, pasty joint compound with a uniform colour, preferably using an electric mixer. First apply the mixture to the joints laterally, then diagonally, and fill completely. Wipe off with the sponge disk and a very small amount of water right after the start of drying. Sufficient strength is reached once the grout can only be pressed in lightly with a finger. Remove any streaks of mortar within approx. 1 hour using the sponge disc. Do not powder while wet.

Avoid direct sunlight and drafts during curing. We recommend covering freshly grouted coverings in outdoor areas as well as non-absorptive covering materials with a film, or keeping them moist if needed.

Colour samples in the form of grout rods or printed images are non-binding. They are intended for reference purposes and as a tool for selecting the right grout colour.

Climatic conditions at specific properties, and different characteristics of the covering material may influence the appearance of the grout. If substrates or covering materials are absorptive, such as porcelain tiles, then the shade may be deepened.

In general, the covering material must be checked for suitability; we recommend completing a sample installation. Non absorptive covering materials should preferably be grouted using quick-curing grouts. Only begin washing once sufficient joint strength has been reached.

Then wipe off the joints and wash with as little water as possible. Protect freshly grouted surfaces against draughts, direct sunlight, and drying too quickly. This is particularly important in coverings with very narrow joints.

To avoid spots, please note:

Low temperatures will slow curing of the compound, which can cause changes in colour shade. Moisture from the substrate can cause efflorescence and marbling. Reworking the bonded joint with highly diluted, acidic cleaning agents, with thorough scrubbing and washing has proven effective in practice. The joint should be soaked first. Work from the top to the bottom of the wall while doing so, and avoid puddles on the floor. Servoperl 10 is a cement-bound product, and therefore not completely resistant to aggressive cleaning agents and water with a high chlorine content.

Clean tools immediately with water.
