Fast-setting, flexible, cement-based thin set and medium bed mortar according to EN 12004 C2 FT-S1 for interior and exterior ceramic and quarry tile installations, porcelain stoneware, natural stone, porcelain mosaic, clinker and brick tile as well as insulation board. Specifically designed for large format tile installation. Can be used over calcium sulphate screeds primed with Okatmos® UG 30. Coverings installed with Servoflex K-Schnell SuperTec are ready for light traffic and can be grouted after approx. 2 hours. Because of its high polymer content Servoflex K-Schnell SuperTec can also be used on substrates such as in-situ concrete (at least 3 months old), gypsum fibre board, gypsum board and sheet rock, over heated screed (please follow regulations and data sheets), poured mastic asphalt, insulation board, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) as well as over balconies, patios and exterior walls.

The substrate must be ready for installation, dry, clean and load bearing. If installation occurs on shrinking substrates frequent expansion joints should be included in the layout. Prime absorbent substrates in interior areas with Okatmos® GG or Okatmos® UG 30. Allow a drying time of at least 24 hours over calcium sulfate screed or prime with Okamul PU-V schnell or Okapox GF. In exterior areas prime with Okatmos® UG 30. On old coverings apply a water proofing membrane with Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec or Servoflex DMS 1K-Schnell SuperTec.

Mix Servoflex K-Schnell SuperTec with clean water to a smooth texture. Allow mixture to slake for approx. 5 minutes and mix again. Apply a contact layer on the substrate. Use appropriate notched trowel (see table) to apply mortar. Slide the covering material into the adhesive bed within 20 minutes and press tightly. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate/covering corrections can be made within approx. 10-20 minutes. Do not use dried up mortar remains.
