Servoflex 5 royal
Thinset, medium bed and leveling/repair mortar with an accelerated hardness development
- individually adjustable mortar consistence, makes largely complete embedding of the coating material possible
- very high spreading rate
- for indoor, outdoor and underwater areas on wall and especially floor surfaces
- no efflorescence
- safe to process at lower temperatures
- also on hot screeds, balconies, terraces and façades
- long processing time, long working
- no sealing primer required on calcium sulphate screeds for large ceramic and stone tiles
- with Origin Consistency Effect

Plastic finishers, very productive, calcium aluminate cement bonded and dust-reduced thin bed / medium bed (fluid bed) and leveling mortar with high early strength and secure curing, even at low temperatures. For thickness of the application up to 20 mm indoors, outdoors and underwater.
In accordance with DIN EN 12004 C2 FTE-S1.
Servoflex 5 royal is particularly suitable for laying large-format coverings, fine stoneware and corresponding natural stone coverings on conditionally shapable substrates such as heated screed, cement-based screed and calcium sulphate, mastic asphalt screeds, existing concrete (at least 3 months old) and others. By increasing the added water to approx. 7 l/15 kg, a very pliable Mortar consistency is created, which facilitates a special bedding effect that allows largely cavity-free laying when using the floating process.
As a result, the use of the buttering floating process can be omitted. This applies to indoors. When laying particularly large-format surface material, the combined process (buttering floating) may become necessary for optimum bedding of the surface material. As a result of the special binders, no efflorescence is possible when using Servoflex 5 royal e.g. outdoors. In addition, there is also increased resistance against acids and temperature tolerance compared to Portland cement-bonded products.
Servoflex 5 royal is classified according to GEV EMICODE EC1Plus.
Fulfils the guidelines for flex mortar.
The subfloor must be dry, clean and stable. If laying on insecure underfloor the area size must be limited by expansion joints. Clean old coverings with an alkali cleaner. Pre-coat indoor absorbent substrates with Okatmos® DSG, Okatmos® GG, Okamul SP or Okatmos® UG 30. This applies to the max. thickness of 20 mm. On mastic asphalt screeds, the max. thickness is generally 5 mm.
Pre-coat non-absorbent substrates with Okatmos® DSG or Okatmos® UG 30. Outdoors, prime mineral substrates with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG. Prime Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG on old horizontal coverings and apply the compound seal Servoflex DMS 1K-schnell SuperTec or Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec.
Mix Servoflex 5 royal with clean water until smooth. Leave to stand for approx. 5 minutes and then mix again. Unevenness in the substrate can be leveled during installation. Larger unevennesses up to 20 mm are leveled by applying a leveling layer, which then has to harden for approx. 4-6 hours or until it can be walked on, before installation is started. Apply Servoflex 5 royal with a notched scraper suitable for the application area, which guarantees a largely fully-coated surface material, to the substrate and insert and push the surface material into the fresh adhesive bed. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate/coating, the laid material can be adjusted within approx. 30 minutes. Servoflex 5 royal, mixed and thickened in a bucket, can be stirred without adding water until hardening begins after 2.5 hours, also multiple times, in order to achieve the start consistency.
