Flexmörtel

Sag resistant, flexible, light grey, polymer-modified cement-based thin-bed mortar according to EN 12 004 C2 TE- S1 for installation of ceramic tiles and slabs, fine porcelain stoneware, porcelain mosaic, clinker and brick tiles, as well as natural stone coverings that are insensitive to discolouration and deformation indoors and outdoors on load-bearing substrates such as e.g. in-situ concrete (at least 6 months old), gypsum fibre boards, gypsum plasterboards, heated screeds (observe relevant standards and leaflets), mastic asphalt and aerated concrete, as well as balconies.

Due to the variable water factor of approx. 34 - 40 %, Servoflex 2.0 can be applied with a very stable consistency for the application of heavy tiles in a wall area, up to an easily formable floor consistency and still hardens safely and quickly.

The substrate must be dry, clean and stable. If laying on insecure substrates the area size must be limited by expansion joints. Clean old coverings with an alkali cleaner. Pre-coat indoor absorbent substrates with Okatmos® DSG, Okatmos® GG or Okatmos® UG 30. For required layer thicknesses up to 10 mm on calcium sulphate screeds with Okatmos® DSG or Okapox GF prime. Apply 15 mm layer thickness only on water-resistant, stable substrates, e.g. cement screeds or concrete. On calcium sulphate screeds max. 10 mm layer thickness.

Pre-coat non-absorbent substrates with Okatmos® DSG or Okatmos® UG 30.

Prime with Okatmos® UG 30 outside. On old outdoor surfaces, which have been cleaned with an alkaline cleaner and treated with Okatmos® UG 30,always work in conjunction with a bonded waterproofing (e.g. with Servoflex DMS 1K-schnell SuperTec or Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec).

Mix Servoflex 2.0 with clean water to the desired consistency without lumps. Stir again after approx. 5 minutes of slake time. Using the appropriate trowel (see table) spread the mixture onto the substrate and place and firmly press down the material being laid after no more than approx. 30 minutes. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate/coating, the laid material can be adjusted within approx. 25 minutes.

Use the combined installation method (buttering-floating) in outdoor areas or with large-format tiles.
