Cement-bound, low-emission, polymer-modified universal screed with good levelling quality, for filling and levelling substrates up to 10 mm thick before laying elastic and textile floor coverings, and multi-layered prefabricated parquet, together with Bakit EK neu or Bakit FPK. Also suitable for asphalt screeds with a hardness class of IC 10, and suitable chip/OSB flooring panels up to 5 mm thick.
Servofix USP cannot be used as a subfloor.
The substrate must be tested and ready for laying pursuant to VOB, Part C, DIN 18 365, DIN 18 356 as well as the state-of-the-art. Prepare the substrate in accordance with the current BEB datasheet, “Assessment and Preparation of Substrates”, as well as datasheet TKB-8.
Depending on the type of substrate and its future intended use, pre-coat with Okamul HD 11, Okatmos® EG 20, Okatmos® DSG, Okapox GF or fast-acting Okamul PU-V, to ensure a system is safely built up.
Mix Servofix USP with clean water at a maximum speed of 600 rpm, using an electric mixer, until there are no clumps. Leave to stand for approx. 5 minutes and then mix again. Next, apply the screed with a trowel or a scraper. For greatly differing layer thicknesses, and asphalt, coat the screed with 1 kg Okamul 71 per 25 kg of powder, and reduce the amount of water used to the appropriate amount.
Further coats may need to be applied while wet, depending on the traffic requirements of the surface; otherwise, prime with Okamul HD 11 or Okatmos® EG 20 in the ratio of 1:3 with water. Avoid direct sunlight and draughts during the drying period.
Lay some screed as a practice, in case of doubt.
