Solvent-free, very low emission, fiber-reinforced wet-bed dispersion adhesive for installation of rubber floor coverings of up to 4.0 mm thickness in lengths and tiles (not suitable for special or special-purpose coverings), designer coverings in plank and tile format and for homogeneous/heterogeneous PVC/CV floor coverings. The addition of reinforcing fibers minimizes adhesive billowing during installation and residual indentation in installed flooring. Thanks to its antimicrobial properties, Okatmos® star 110 also helps to prevent odors.

The substrate must be inspected in accordance with VOB Section C, DIN 18365 and the current state of technology and be ready for laying. Substrates are to be pre-treated in accordance with the current BEB datasheet ‚Beurteilen und Vorbereiten von Untergründen‘ (Evaluation and Preparation of Substrates) and TKB Datasheet 8. Depending on the type of substrate and its subsequent load follow requirements regarding primers, patching or self-leveling compounds. With absorptive substrates, apply with a trowel to a thickness of at least 2 mm, with non-absorptive substrates at least 3 mm. Then allow the self-leveling or patching compound to dry sufficiently. The technical datasheets of the other products used are to be complied with. A system assembly must be ensured.

Stir Okatmos® star 110 well before use. Apply the adhesive to the substrate using trowel attached to the lid. Only apply as much to the surface as can be covered within the stated installation time. The trowel should be replaced relatively short time (approx. every 15 - 20 m2) before channels will appear between the fibers and to ensure that the correct amount of adhesive is applied at all times. After the skin over time (depending on the internal climate conditions), install the floor covering in the adhesive bed while still wet, without trapping any air, and rub on carefully. After approximately 30 minutes, rub or roll over the covering again. Ensure that the rear side of the covering is sufficiently wet. The floor covering must be tension-free and lie flat. Weigh down if necessary. Avoid bulging in the area of seams and upwardly projecting building components. Wait at least 24 hours before sealing joints or welding seams in the floor covering. The laying instructions of the manufacturer of the floor covering are to be observed at all times.

Clean tools with water immediately after usage.
