Solvent-free, very low emission multipurpose dispersion adhesive for a wide variety of flooring materials. Suitable for heterogeneous and homogeneous PVC-coverings, CV-coverings, rubber sheet goods and tiles up to 4 mm as well as textile coverings with latex-, PVC- or PUR-backing.
Okatmos® star 100 has been successfully tested as a system assembly with the insulator Valutect and meets the requirements regarding airborne and contaminated surfaces. Okatmos® star 100 provides antimicrobial properties and prevents odours.
The substrate must comply with VOB Part C, DIN 18 365, current data sheet BEB as well as with all technical requirements and must be ready for installation. The surface must be sound and clean. Remove dirt, paint, oil, grease wax and other contamination which might act as a bond breaker. Prepare all non-absorbent substrates with Kiesel suitable primers and level using Kiesel self-leveling compounds. Before installing vapor-tight coverings prepare substrate with self-levelling compound.
Okatmos® star 100 should be used as a product component together with other Kiesel floor installation system products.
Stir Okatmos® star 100 well.
Use appropriate notched trowel to apply the adhesive onto the substrate. Install covering after a drying time of 5 -15 minutes and roll down. Ensure a full area application on the back of the covering. Repress bulging areas after Technical Data Sheet approx. 30 - 60 minutes. Please follow the installation instructions of the flooring manufacturer, especially the directions for covering acclimation.
Weld joints no earlier than two days after the installation.

Higher temperature and low humidity decreases, lower temperature and high humidity increases this value respectively.

Coverage is estimated by trial-application on Servoplan S 111. It may vary on different substrates and depends on application angle and manufacturer of trowel.
Clean tools with water immediately after application.
