Okatmos® EF 12

Solvent-free, very low emission universal adhesive for textile flooring with latex, foam or felt backing, CV coverings, PVC-/CV-flooring with fleece backing. Suitable on prepared surfaces and on old water resistant floor finishes.
Okatmos® EF 12 is water soluble and can later be removed. Okatmos® EF 12 contributes with its sanitizing effect to prevent odors.
The substrate must comply with VOB Part C, DIN 18 365 and must be installation ready and tested. Substrates must comply in accordance to current BEB publication "Assessment and preparation of substrates" and leaflet TKB-8. Depending on the type of substrate, floor covering and the subsequent stress prime and prepare subfloors with suitable Kiesel primers / self-levelling or patching compounds.
The technical data sheets for the products used must be observed. A system structure must be absolutely guaranteed.
Old floor finishes must be free of care products and have a very good adhesive bond to the substrate. Optionally clean with cleaner.
Stir Okatmos® EF 12 well. Subsequently, apply adhesive with a moltoprene roller / velour roller or trowel onto the subfloor. After of the open time install covering material and press. After the covering is no longer needed remove adhesive leftovers with warm water with the addition of basic cleaner.

Higher temperatures and lower air humidity shorten this time frame, lower temperatures and higher air humidity extend it accordingly.
Old floor finishes can accept by fixing slight discolorations which are present irreversibly after resumption of the deposit. This applies particularly in rough, porous surfaces such as Cement joints.

Consumption depends on various factors such as: condition of the surface and the back structure of the leveling compounds, trowel manufacturers and final processing.
Clean tools with water immediately.
