Solvent-free, very low-emission special adhesive with two components (paste-like dispersion + cement-based reactive powder) for adhering the Kiesel sealing membrane and sealing the sheet overlaps, as well as system components such as Kiesel sealing tape, Kiesel inside and outside corners and Kiesel sealing collar. Suitable for use in conjunction with Kiesel sealing membrane as an interior sealing material (AIV-B) in water impact classes W0-I, W1-I, W2-I, and W3-I** without chemical exposure. For use on absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.

The substrate must be tested and ready for laying in accordance with VOB, Part C, DIN 18352 as well as the best available technology. Before adhering the Kiesel sealing membrane, smooth out any uneven areas like holes, nests, or cracks in a separate work step, for instance using Servoret RS or Servoret RS-N. The substrate must be even enough to allow the Kiesel sealing membrane to be installed without cavities. Pre-coat absorbent and non-absorbent substrates with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG. Prime highly absorbent surfaces with 2 x coats of Okatmos® DSG (1:1 and undiluted). The technical data sheets for the products used must be observed.

Add component B (powder) to the plastic bucket of component A (dispersion) and mix using an electric stirrer until there are no more clumps. Specialised adhesive Okamul Ki Fix can be applied evenly to the substrate for full coverage in conjunction with Kiesel sealing membranes for instance using a Kiesel Ki Fix roll. Alternatively, the adhesive can also be applied with a toothed TKB B1. Install the Kiesel sealing membrane immediately before the material forms a skin and use Kiesel Ki Fix board to smooth down over the entire surface, to prevent air pockets under the sheet. Apply “wall” and “floor” sealing collars as described above with the specialised adhesive Okamul Ki Fix covering the entire surface, avoiding cavities, in the corner and joint areas of the Kiesel sealing membrane or interior/exterior sealing corners to seal pipe and floor drain openings.
