Solvent-free emulsion contact adhesive for the bonding of textile flooring, homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC coverings, soft PVC skirting boards, stair profiles, concave skirting, CV flooring, linoleum flooring, rubber flooring, cork tiles on absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.
The subfloor and the room climate conditions must comply with all national installation guidelines and requirements.
The substrate should be clean and prepared ready for installation, removing any surface contaminations. The flatness of the substrate should be ensured prior to installation, if necessary use: Servofix or Servoplan levelling compounds. Prime highly absorbent substrates with Okatmos® EG 20, Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG as recommended. The primer must be completely dry before bonding.
Mix Okamul K 5 Plus thoroughly. Apply the adhesive with the appropriate trowel evenly and generously on the back of the covering and substrate. Spread the adhesive in a film like form providing unified and undisturbed layer and wait until completely dry. As soon as both surfaces are transparent, install the covering properly and firmly tap using a rubber hammer or correct roller.
The flooring material can be pre-coated with Okamul K 5 Plus the day before installation. On the installation day apply adhesive only on the substrate using the same techniques as described above and after the drying time start installation.
When coated on the day before the coverings installation time is approximately 90 minutes.

Higher temperatures and lower humidity reduce the value and lower temperatures and higher humidity increase the value accordingly.
