Kiesel edge insulation strips are made of PE foam with integrated fleece backing and adhesive leg. This enables superior corner formation and fixation of rising components. Prevents sound transfer between wall structures from self leveling compounds, mortars and hard surfaces. It is important to ensure that the adhesive is completely secured to the substrate. Prevents flowing screeds and self levelling compounds from running underneath the assembly during installation.
Substrate must be sound, clean, dry and dust free
The edge strip is positioned at floor to wall transitions or fixed building elements, with the fabric leg placed onto the substrate against the wall surface panel.
