Solvent-free, very low emission polymer dispersion primer for wood flooring installation. Can be used on absorbent substrates for direct installation with any Bakit-wood flooring adhesive or prior to leveling work performed with Servoplan-, Servofix- or Servoalpha-leveling compounds. Not suitable for non-absorbent substrates and water soluble residues of sulphite lye adhesives and bitumen-based cutback adhesives. Bakit PV-Universal can not be used as moisture barrier or for the consolidation of worn soft screed or concrete surfaces.
The subfloor must be tested and ready for installations according to VOB Part C, DIN 18 365 or DIN 18 356 and local codes and guidelines. Substrates preparation according to the current BEB publication "Assessment and preparation of substrates and TKB-8 data".
The surface must be sound and clean. Remove dirt, paint, oil, grease wax and other contamination which might act as a bondbreaker.
Shake container prior to application. Apply Bakit PV-Universal with a brush or lint-free lamb skin roller onto the substrate. Avoid puddles and excess layers. Continue with wood flooring installation or leveling work after thorough drying of the primer.
