Solvent-free and anhydrous, very low-emission 2-component polyurethane adhesive in accordance with DIN EN 14 293 for the shear-resistant bonding of parquet and for full-surface bonding of laminate flooring approved by the manufacturer. Suitable for various types of parquet such as mosaic parquet, upright lamella parquet, strip parquet with tongue and groove, 10 mm solid parquet, prefabricated parquet 2, 3 and multi-layered in panels and floorboards, solid wood flooring, laminate flooring and wood-block paving in accordance with DIN 68 702 RE, WE without traffic.

Please consult with the application engineering team for use on exotic wood.

For bonding to cement screeds, calcium sulphate screeds, mastic asphalt screed (hardness class IC 10), chipboards P5 (V 100 E1), OSB-3/OSB-BAU sheets and to repaired surfaces, make substrate with suitable Servofix/Servoplan screeds.

The substrate must be tested and ready for laying pursuant to VOB, Part C, DIN 18 356 parquet and wood-block paving work and DIN 68 702 wood-block paving with state-of-the-art technology. Prepare the substrate in accordance with the current BEB data sheet, “Assessment and Preparation of Substrates”, as well as data sheet TKB-8. Depending on the substrate type, the type of parquet and the subsequent load, prime with Okapox GF or Okamul PU-V schnell and, if necessary, prepare with suitable Servofix/Servoplan screeds, ready for use.

For filling or levelling work prior to bonding wood-block paving, the Servoplan S 111 or Servoplan S 444 screeds should be used in layer thicknesses of at least 3 mm.

The flooring on substrates primed with Okamul PU-V schnell or Okapox GF must be laid within 48 hours. The technical data sheets for the products used must be observed. This system configuration must be guaranteed.

Allow curing agent component B to flow into component A completely. Intensively mix the two components with an electric mixer at approx. 400 rpm until the mixture is free of streaks. Then repot it and stir again.

Then apply Bakit PU-P to the substrate using a suitable toothed spreader. Insert the parquet, align and hammer into place, paying attention to full-surface wetting. Remove excess adhesive immediately.

If tensions occur on the parquet surface, this must be weighed down immediately until the adhesive sets. Follow the processing guidelines of the parquet and laminate manufacturers. The parquet can be sanded and sealed after 24 - 48 hours.

Protective actions

Component B contains diphenylmethane diisocyanate. Harmful when inhaled. Sensitisation may occur through skin contact. Ventilate well during work and wear protective gloves and safety goggles. In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with soap and water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor. Observe data sheet M 044 “Data sheet on handling polyurethane paints" by the German Employers' Liability Insurance Association (Berufsgenossenschaft) for the chemicals industry as well as the instructions on the containers.
